Level 2/3 Certificate in Business Administration

 

Course Title/s:

NVQ Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Business Administration

Target Group:

The qualification is aimed at people who work as part of a team and ensure the provision of information and resources to others. This qualification will provide learners with introductory business functional areas from which they may achieve competence in a variety of contexts.
To be eligible you must be over the age of 19 and either in part time or full time employment.

Course Information:

The course duration is 6 months for a Level 2 qualification and 9-12 months for a Level 3 qualification but can be done in quicker time. This is a qualification, which demonstrates competency and ability to do the work effectively and efficiently. The training is on the job and the NVQ assessment recognises an individual's performance at work and their ability to meet the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification. This qualification reflects the skills and knowledge needed to do the job and no previous qualifications are necessary. Due to its work-based evidence, there is no examination.

Course Content:

Business Administration Level 2 Certificate

To achieve a Level 2 Certificate you must complete a minimum of 21 credits.

9 credits must be completed from the Mandatory Units.

12 credits must be completed by choosing your Optional Units.

Business Administration Level 3 Certificate

To achieve a Level 3 Certificate you must complete a minimum of 30 credits.

13 credits must be completed from the Mandatory Units.

17 credits must be completed by choosing your Optional Units.

Manage own performance in a business environment

Evaluate and improve own performance in a business environment

Work in a business environment

Communicate in a business environment

Optional Units:

There will be a list of optional units you will choose from covering areas such as:

Producing Documents

Events and Meetings

Making and receiving telephone calls

Customer service

Managing information and data
